Google offers reCAPTCHA to help you protect your polls from fraudulent activities, spam and abuse.

To start using reCAPTCHA, you need to sign up directly at Google for an API key pair for your site. The key pair consists of a site key and secret key. The site key is used to invoke reCAPTCHA service on your site or mobile application. The secret key authorises communication between your application backend and the reCAPTCHA server to verify the user's response.

The form for the registration looks like:

  • Label: serves for identification

  • Type: must be the same as the type selected in the Pinpoll Cockpit

  • Domain: please enter "pinpoll.com" and all your domains, where you embed your polls

  • Terms: accept

After submitting the form, you will receive your API key pair:

Rembember: Add Google as a partner in your consent partner management (CMP).

Copy the site key and secret key to your poll and then it is secured with Google reCAPTCHA.
