When it comes to using images in the elements, size is an important factor to consider.

The choice of size depends on how and where the image or element will be used.

It is important that 100% of the provided placeholder must be filled by the image, as Pinpoll elements adapt responsive on all devices.

However, images should not be too small, otherwise they will be blurred. As a rule of thumb, use twice the width of the website content to ensure that the image looks good on all devices, including Retina displays.

Example:

In this case, the website content is 580 px wide. Therefore, it is recommended to use an image that is 1,160 px wide.

You can upload your own images, include them via external link or select them from the Pixabay collection.

You can integrate images in our elements in different ways:

  • As a background image in the voting (it is cropped to the required height).

  • Above the voting (there is no cropping)

  • Above the answer text (no cropping is done)

  • In the multimedia layout as answer images instead of answer texts (there is no cropping)

  • On the Cover Slide (cropping will be done)

  • In the summary view (cropping will be done)

  • On the result view (cropping will be done)

When it comes to ads, it is recommended to always use Medium Rectangle (300x250 px). This is a frequently used size for online ads and provides a sufficient area for displaying your ad message.
